What is SiftFox?
SiftFox is a curated software directory. We hand-pick SaaS and digital tools, group them into categories and rank them by community boosts plus editorial curation. Every profile shows what the tool does, its pricing model and any active deal from the maker.
How are tools ranked?
Two signals: boosts from signed-in users (one boost per tool per person) and editorial order set by our team. Nothing else. Payment never affects a ranking position. Full methodology
Can anyone pay to rank higher?
No. The ranking is not for sale - not to sponsors, not to friends, not to anyone. Sponsors can buy a Featured slot, which is clearly labeled and sits visually outside the ranking. If anyone offers to sell you a ranking position in our name, it is a scam - forward it to fox@siftfox.com.
What is a boost?
A boost is a vote from a signed-in user - one per tool, click again to take it back. No anonymous votes, no bots, no vote packages. Boosts drive the order inside every category and the Top 3 podium on the homepage.
How do I get my tool listed?
Submit it on the submit page. The free queue is reviewed and published in order, usually within 1-2 weeks. Fast-track ($19) publishes within 48 hours, and $39 lets you pick your exact launch date. Submit a tool
Why is my product already on SiftFox even though I never submitted it?
We seed profiles ourselves so every category is complete from day one. If a profile is yours, claiming it is free and instant: sign in, verify with a work email at the tool's domain, done. Claimed profiles get an editable page and a Maker badge. How claiming works
What does the Featured label mean?
Featured is a paid placement at the top of one category - $67 per month, always labeled, never counted in the ranking. It is how the site pays for itself without touching the ranking.
What are deals?
Deals are real discounts makers offer to SiftFox visitors. They are free to list, marked with a green badge across the site, and never affect a tool's position. Browse deals
Is SiftFox free to use?
Yes. Browsing, searching, boosting, commenting and claiming your profile are all free. Makers only pay for optional extras: fast-track publishing, a chosen launch date or a Featured slot.
