what it is

BORME API connects AI assistants to Spanish commercial-registry data published in the BORME (Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil): more than 9.6 million company events since 2009, updated every publication day. What you can ask for: - Find Spanish companies by name, or look one up by its NIF/CIF tax ID. - Read a company's published registry history: incorporations, appointments and resignations of officers, capital changes, mergers, insolvency notices and more. - Search events across companies by publication date, province, act type and company name. - Summarise one BORME publication day. - Find trademarks and trade names linked to a company in Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) records. - Get recent risk signals derived from BORME and other public data. Hosted server, nothing to install: - https://mcp.bormeapi.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Send your API key in the X-API-Key header. Without a key, the free plan applies: 50 requests a day and events from the last 7 days. - https://mcp.bormeapi.com/mcp/oauth for assistants that connect with OAuth, such as Claude.ai and ChatGPT custom connectors. Paid plans add longer history, NIF lookup, trademarks, trade names and risk signals. Results are based on published BORME notices and other public data; links between companies and trademarks or NIFs are data matches, not legal confirmation. Setup guide: https://bormeapi.com/mcp (English) and https://bormeapi.com/es/mcp (Spanish). Source code and a local stdio server: https://github.com/bormeapi/borme-mcp (MIT license).
