The open source event sourcing database
GenesisDB 2.0 is open source under the MIT license. No editions, no license keys, no event limits, and a drop-in replacement for every 1.x installation.
Today GenesisDB 2.0 is released, and with it the complete source code. You put your history into it, and with event sourcing that history is the system. GenesisDB 2.0 is a drop-in replacement for 1.x. As with every migration, a backup before upgrading is not a recommendation but a requirement. The only required configuration change: GENESISDBAUTHTOKEN now needs at least 32 bytes.
